When the hatchimals first released, there were lots of fakes to be found. here is a list of fake interactive hatchimals.
Hatching Pet Egg
This fakie resembles a draggle, and could come in pink, yellow, green, or blue. They don't have fur, but are flocked instead. apparently, a mother bought it for her daughter by accident, and it made groaning sounds that were a little off from a normal hatchimal.

Hatching Pet Egg 2.0
This fakie resembles a penguala. it's very fluffy and kinda cute. it could come in purple, pink, or blue and could have pink, blue, or white wings. Very little is known about this fake.

Hatchanimals
This fakie could be a draggle or a penguala. the hatchis themselves look normal, but have different wheels and all have green draggle wings, even the penguala! the egg has a strange green ring around it that has some kind of text written on it.

This fakie resembles a draggle, and could come in green or purple. They have no fur and don't have an egg. very little is known about this fake.
Angry Bird Parakeet Fake Evil Hatchimal Thing(Hatchiα΄g)
This Fakie resembles a penguala. it didn't make any hatchimals noises, but made angry bird and chirping noises. when it hatches, it will start playing Red's theme from the Angry Birds Movie. it looks a little disheveled.

Family Penguin
This fakie resembles a penguala. it could come in pink, blue, purple, or green. it came in a plastic egg and won't hatch on it's own, you have to take the top off. it has bump and go action, a sign of a Chinese knockoff.

Fuzzy Wonderz
One of the most well-known fakes out there. This fakie is a cross between a hatchimal and a furby. it comes in pink, purple, blue and green and just lights up and talks. it makes weird sounds in the egg, and goes straight to full English when it's born. it comes with an app that allows you to feed it.

Incubabies
Not really a knockoff, but very similar. these "fakies" resemble everyday birds and reptiles such as an owl, an alligator, a parrot, and a pterodactyl. they're entirely plastic, have glowing eyes, and repeat their sounds over and over again. the egg has a wind-up mechanism and has 3 shell pieces which can be pieced back together that pop off when the figure hatches.

here's another one of those darn storytellers. this fakie appears to be a genuine hatchimal, until it starts speaking words. some egg hatch, while others require you to break it with an included mallet. it looks sorta ugly...

This fakie has 3 very accurate hatchimals inside. the only difference is that they have no fur and have detachable tails. very little is known about these fakes
Hatohinals Interactive
This fakie resembles a penguala. It's all plastic with tiny little wings and comes in a colleggtibles box. very little is known about this fake
Hhatchimalss woomo
these fakies resemble the common original hatchimals and are tiny with two LED lights on their pupils. They're very poorly made and are entirely plastic. Very little is known about this fake.
Bizak hatchimals
No, Bizak isn't a knockoff company, the knockoff is just copying the Bizak box. the real bizak hatchimals box has Spanish text. anyways, this fakie resembles a penguala. It has a funny look on it's face, and is made out of a different fur material.

most collEGGtibles fakes resemble season 1, but some could resemble other seasons. there are more colleggtible fakes out there than interactives, so pay close attention to this part.
Hotchimols: collect them!
starting off with the worst fakies, this series contains poorly made eggs with poorly made hatchis inside. the cartons aren't even cartons, they're just plastic.

these "fakies" are your average dollar tree collectable figurines. there appears to be six figures to collect, including mammals, with multiple variations. the egg is virtually the same as regular incubabies.

Plastic Hatchimals eggs
These fakies come in colorful season 1 eggs with plastic wrap around them. the eggs are not like eggshells, but are rather more like easter eggs. the figures inside are poorly made and some of them aren't even hatchimals at all! one is apparently NAHAL!

Glowing Fakes
These fakies are some of the coolest ones. These hatchis come in a 2- pack, 4-pack, 6 pack carton, an identical season 2 style carton or an LOL style 1 pack. they hatch out of a fairly good quality egg and glow in the dark(probably what sparked spin master to make the neon nightglows).

Exact Copies
Watch out for these fakies! they're exact replicas of season 1. the only things that are wrong with these is that exclusive figures are sometimes found in 4 packs and the speckle colors are wrong, so look for an exclusive figure before buying season 1 4-packs!

Hatohinals
These fakies are scaled up versions of the season 1 hatchimals that come in large eggs similar to the plastic hatchimal eggs. They come in an LOL ball, a 2-pack, a blind bag with no egg, a 3 pack with no eggs, a 4-pack plus bonus, a 5 pack with 2 out of egg, a 20 pack with cards and no eggs, or on their own in an egg. the most accurate ones are the monkiwis. also known as hatchinals, matohinals, or hatchimals

Basically hatchimals crossed with LOL dolls. looks straight out of a preschool video. MGA or spin master wouldn't be happy

These fakies are similar to hatohinals and the plastic eggs. they come in 4-packs, 5-packs with an oversized egg, or 6-packs with 3 nests. the eggs are bluish grey or purple, and the hatchis inside are low quality.

Hatchwizard Magic Pet Eggs
This fakie took it to the next level, copying not one, but TWO seasons (season 1 and 5). not only that, they also mocked some of the playsets! those being the hatchery nursery, hatchy hangout papercrafts, Flower Shower, and the secret scene egg respectively as well as the eggventure game.

These fakies also come in easter eggs. they are better than the ones above, and come with a little skateboard. eggs can be transparent or opaque. very little is known about these fakes.
Royal Hatch
These fakies aren't even fakies at all! they come in pink or blue easter eggs and are all genuine figures from various seasons(although they might not be from season 6). It's just like those PokΓ©mon mystery packs!

8-pack Carton
This fakie does have hatchimals inside of it, but they're similar to other fakies so I didn't include them. the egg spaces look a little off, and the carton is transparent. very little is known about this fake.
Hhatchimalss GGTR
This fakie is very similar to the plastic eggs, new arrivals, and hatohinals. The eggs seem to look more like genuine season 1 eggs, but the hearts are sort of off. the hatchis inside seem to be made out of a hard plastic opposed to the softer plastic used in the real ones.

Keychains
These fakies can be obtained from a keychain egg that kind of looks like a mystery mini egg. they can also be found in an LOL ball. there seems to only be six figures in the collection, those being a monkiwi, bunwee, koalabee, girreo, mouswift, and flamingoose. the models are off and the girreo seems to be the most accurate.

2017 pack
These fakies come in or out of an egg. the egg is just like the plastic eggs with a wrapper. the hatchimals inside are similar to the genuine figures, but are just colored differently.

oversize eggs
this fakie copies both season 1 and 2 and can be identified by the squished egg topper on the box and different box art. the eggs come in 2- or 4-packs and are much bigger than the figures inside. the hatchis seem to be well made, and the eggs open the same way as easter eggs do.

Hatchanimals collectibles
these fakies copy season 2. the box has minimal design, but the figures look ok. Very little is known about this fake.
Magic angels(Russian fake)
these fakies are clear and filled with rainbow glitter and colorful bellies. they look more like a work of art rather than a knockoff toy. the eggs look beautiful and come in a blind bag.

Pixies
Prom pixie fakes
these images were found on the shopping website prom. The packaging is almost identical to the real thing other than the back. The eggs match the colors of the original but they are missing glitter and the heart is in the completely wrong place. The heads are on the wrong body molds. They are not as detailed as the originals and the faces are poorly painted. The glitter looks cheap and messy and would probably shed a lot.
Crystal box
This fakie doesn't come in an egg, but rather in a crystal-shaped box. it looks more like a rubber toy and comes with cheap accessories.

Other
Hatch N' Grow egg
This isn't a fakie as hatch n' grow eggs were a thing way before hatchimals released. I'm only including it because it uses the egg from hatchimals colleggtibles.
How Not To Hatch
- look for abnormality in the logo. if the logo says anything other than Hatchimals, it's fake.
- if the logo does say Hatchimals, check the box shape. if it looks nothing like a genuine product, it's fake.
- if it looks genuine, check the eggs. if the eggs look nothing like a real hatchimals egg, it's fake.
- if the eggs look fine, check the displayed hatchimals. if it's not on the checklist or doesn't have glittery wings, it's fake.
- if all didn't work, check for the "H" egg imprint on the box or the spin master logo. if you don't spot either, it's fake
- if THAT didn't work, check the box quality. if it feels like the box is poorly made, it's fake
