Hatchimals Alive! Rainbow Splash is a season of Hatchimals CollEGGtibles that was released released in July of 2024. There are 47 figures in this collection counting twins and triplets as one. This season uses a different version of the self hatching mechanism from Alive!. When placed in the water dye is released from the bottom of the egg that turns the water different colors (You can also technically do the bottle hatch but you have to use a bottle from the previous season because these don't come with bottles). This season is rainbow themed and the hatchimals are babies like in the last season. They also have removable wings like in Wilder Wings (You can't really mix and match them though because they all look the same).

How to hatch
- Remove the winged heart from the egg and put it to the side
- Place the egg in a bowl or an included pool
- Fill the bowl or pool with water until it reaches the little holes on the egg base
- Watch your egg hatch and the water change color to match the hatchimals inside! If you have the fizzy color surprise, then the water will fizz, too
- Remove the hatchimals from the egg
- Attach the winged heart to the back of the hatchimal and accessorize with the included accessories
- Play!
You can still use classic hatch or the bottle hatch if you want to

Q&A
Q: Can I use the hatching methods from alive!? A: yes! the bottle hatch can be preformed, but you will have to take a bottle from Alive! to use this method.
Q: Can I tell what hatchimal I may be getting by looking at the egg? A: No. However, the accessory that comes with the egg provides a hint at who you will hatch (see collection above)!
Q: How do these eggs hatch? A: They hatch just like alive! eggs. you can view how they hatch here
Q: How does the water change color? A: When warm water enters the bottom of the egg base, a dry dye will spill out, coloring the water almost instantly. This is the same deal for the make a splash playset from alive!, but the dye is on the outside of the egg and it takes longer for the water to change color.
Q: The eggs don't seem to have hearts on them in the artwork. does that mean spin master removed them? A: No, the winged hearts are still part of the egg.
Q: Is the fizzy color surprise like the secret surprise? A: No; even though fizzy eggs are much larger than regular eggs, the figures are on the main checklist.
Q: What is the classic pack? A: The classic pack is a mystery 2-pack with exclusive figures. The eggs inside use the same feathery wilder wings mold and use the classic hatching method. It is unknown if the figures are on the main checklist, if they have accessories, or if they will release in a second playset wave.
